Default 12 bolt housings

are 66-67 chevelle 12 bolt housings a 2 year only deal or will others fit or will 68 & up chevelle work or impla ?

Hi , I think they actually started making them in 65 and yes they are narrower than a 68-72 if you need one I know a gentleman that has one

I have a friend that just picked up a 67 needing a 12 bolt for it any leads would help

'65 and '66 Chevelle housings are the same and have flat spring perches with a bolt that holds the spring in place. '67 is the same width at 60 inches, but has the later spring perch with the raised center. '68 to '72 are all the same and are 61 inches wide. All of them will interchange, but tire clearance may be an issue if you are using wide tires.
