John, are you sure it is a 68 rad? Sounds like a 69. The tag for a 68 BB auto should be UO

John...

The 2.70 refers to the 'core thickness'....this radiator was unique for the Nova that year. All the Gibb COPO Novas came equipped with the HD 2.70 4 core unit. In 68-70 the tags were similar between Nova and Camaro...this link will show you the tag/codes.

The Gibb Nova advertisements mention the special 2.70 radiator

Default Radiator

That’s the same thing I was thinking. The right tank is probably incorrect. It would be the same as a 68 BB Camaro with a/c and an auto.

Post Nova Radiator...

John...

I would double check with some other Gibb car folks about the tanks...these were a 'small batch' production...no telling how Chevy handled the parts for this. Also, someone like Wayne Bushey might know...

I'm not sure those tanks are wrong. Confirm it with other cars....
