And I was thinking about buying this for my LS6 but the numbers seemed to be stamped too deep at the 37 so I passed. Glad I did.

The seller of the alternator found him a fish. Sellers from Tennessee and Ohio automatically go on my 'suspect' list, until they're proven otherwise.

Don't recall the name or ID of Ohio seller, but they were selling the same suspect restamped alternators and distributers. Haven't noticed them lately. May have been related to the Tennessee seller. Not sure, just a hunch.

he even is selling cowl tags now, only 8950.00 AND only 195.00 to ship it

I believe he is referring to Greg Long of Angola Indiana- goes by various names on EBAY- restamping distributors, pulleys etc

Look up Detective Tim Crooks- Angola Police Dept and Greg Long- interesting reading for the uninformed

It was attached to a portion of the firewall at one time. Wonder if that price includes the firewall now.
