The dash pad that I used in my 69 Chevelle is so bad that the garnish moldings won't fit. This makes me sick because when I was taking the car apart I recall how well all of that fit. The dash pad was dead though. It had more cracks in it than old asphalt. Should had sent it to Just Dashes. Anyway, any ideas on how to correct this? The problem is that the garnish moldings won't fit low enough for the screws to properly screw in. Was thinking maybe I should use aftermarket garnish moldings? The dash was bought at NPD.
Thanks Lawrence
