Thread of it's own.
This pic is supposedly from 1969. Many things make no sense to me. L72= SS/D and L78= SS/E IIRC. What model is this? Does not look like a malibu to me. |

Terrible Photo…..the front grille Emblem and Fender Emblem….if there, are washed out by the terrible photo
My guess….it is a COPO….but, It could be a transplanted Big Block that someone put together. Yes, they were doing this as early as 1969. Cool picture, I just wish the picture was much better and clear. Dan

COPO was my first thought also.
Pic from Minnesota Dragway and Grossman Chev nearby sold some Yenko cars. Fascinating to me. Agree pic is bad but it sure looks like a Malibu grille and marker bezel is short as is eyebrow.
