Default GM parts binders

I figured I'd ask here, because of all the forums I am on, this one has the most diverse audience - and from what I've read, this one is also the forum most focused on factory correct parts (which is probably why the classifieds here are second to none).

I hoped to get some assistance or opinions regarding the blue cloth bound cardboard binders used for Master Parts Catalogues (MPC's) and Service Bulletins (these were later replaced with same blue coloured hard plastic binders, then again later with red hard plastic binders).

I love thumbing through MPC's - I realize the pitfalls of them (which in my opinion are few), but they give a glimpse to a point in the past, and I love to cross reference parts ect with them.

I probably have about twelve of these (not including the white AC Delco three binder set I have);
Most have (printed in silver ) a square GM logo printed on the top of the spine, and "PARTS CATALOGUE" on the bottom - they all have covers that I am confident I don't need to describe;
I have several (which I am guessing to be later replacements) which have no printing of any kind - but are blank blue books.
Most have some sort of identification sticker affixed to the spine in between the printing on the tops and bottom of the spine;
I found one this past weekend which is far cooler than any of the ones I have previously bought;
It has an indentation for the ID sticker to be slid into so that it's recessed in the spine - and it has metal edging everywhere.

My issue which brings me to post today is that this "new" binder is missing the metal edging on the bottom of the rear cover, and (presumably) the bottom of the spine.
This means that my rear cover is in really poor shape, and the spine is MUCH worse.

QUESTION:

Does anyone know how to fix any of these binders?

Can you buy replacement edging for books which do not currently have it?

Does anyone sell bang-on replacement decals for people like me who collect MPC's?

I have attached a picture showing the spine of this "new" book;
I swapped the original cover from this book to an unbranded book that had a slightly damaged front cover - it is on top of this binder.

Thanks in advance to anyone who might offer any assistance.

Jonathan

EDIT:
I have attached two additional images to show other identification stickers which remain on my books (others have imprint showing where the stickers were).
