I see on one cowl tag for a 69 Yenko it shows X44 but no D80. Was the spoiler a dealer installed item at Yenko's Shop and thats why the missing D80. Did any of them come with X44D80 from the NOR plant? Also haw many of them came with the endura front bumper? Was just wondering if in the Yenko yard pic if thats Bob's Yellow 69 in the pic

Jeff,
Lets see how close I can get, D80 was not designated untill the 3rd-4th week in May of 1969 on trim tags. No 1969 Yenko Camaros have been documented to have come without the D80 spoilers and three were original Endura Bumper Cars. Since we know that Yenko did have vinyl tops installed prior to sale on non vinyl top designted cars, did he ever use any color other than Black? |
