Who is Frank Spotts.....??????
Just received my latest copy of Super Chevy and there are great photos of the SCR7 event. But, there is a mystery driver with a Gobi Beige Deuce, "Frank Spotts". They said he is the Chairman of the Yenko Super Deuce Registry. Who is Frank Spotts?? And why is he driving that car?? Inquiring minds want to know....

....it all happened along long time ago...it was a beautiful summer night...Frank M and Marlin were strolling the beach hand in hand...one thing led to another...and another love child was born.....christened Frank Spotts...Frank swore he would never have another..

In 2004 Marlins wife was pregnant and to pay tribute to the guy that smoked his ass at SCR7 in 2004 he named his newest son Frank. Frank Spotts is all grown up and wanted to resolve the vendetta that his father had against Magallon. It is SCR25 and there is a rematch. Magallon smokes Frank Spotts like he smoked his old man 18 years earlier......    Ok so I have had a few drinks.....

'Frank' is the name of my split personality, a derivative of my bi-polar disorder that I acquired upon painting my car without a mask.... Frank Spotts is quite a Loser, but like a bad penny, he'll turn up again, sometime soon........

And so the story goes; they stood at the edge of that long 1/4 mile and the "ol man said, lovingly; "Someday all this will be yours, Frank, please treat it with respect and always do me proud". And then, as the sun went slowly down on the COPO Quarter Mile and our two heros walked bravely into the sunset, we could here young Frank's parting question: "did I really miss a shift?"
