Does anyone know of where I can get the correct ball joints for my ls-6? The local parts places pieces are not close, the holes for the rivets are not perfectly round and are almost egg shaped and bigger than the stock holes?

I'm not one of the resto professionals who frequent this site....but it's been my experience that buying/finding NOS Ball joints is a EBAY or swap meet situation.....and then there is the issue of finding one of the few people/shops that are capable of riveting them in place........

Chuck, I have someone local who has installed the rivets before, also have the correct 1/4" rivets,so my main problem is going to be finding the corrct ball joints.

First question is...Do you know what the NOS or so called "correct ball joints" look like!
I wouldn't trust any crap on Ebay sight unseen! Do your homework first, so you don't get burnt like so many others in the past.

I have my old ball joints and 1 nos upper one, so I can compare them to any ones that I find. So far I have found only one aftermarket one that has the correct size rivet holes, all of the others have their holes egg shaped instead of round and they are too big for the rivets.
