These were just taken off a 1970 LS-6 Drag Chevelle. Any idea what brand they are? The header tubed and collectors are quite large as well. Were these the so called 180* headers? The front two tubes on both sides wrap around the front crossmember and the headers dump just at the corners of the frame where it starts to curve. Almost like side dumps. Thanks in advance.

those appear to be tubular autiomotive headers. they are still in business and are located in rockland massachusetts.
they were a custom header manufacturer that was big in the north east and are still in business today. see attached: http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/ra...ennscar008.jpg http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/ra...ennscar009.jpg |

Thats exactly what they looked like mounted on the car. That is one mean look thought NOT very good for ground clearance. Coincidently, the car came from Maine so these likely are the headers that you speak of, however I was unable to find any info on the company. If you can direct me, that would be great. Appreciate the pictures.

hi rick,
i have an old watershed decal in my window for them. it shows 617-335-9872. if that doesn't work try 781-335-9872. i put them on my automatic equipped car very easily. i love the look of these. mine are 2 1/8" primary. they are a very old garage and i don't think you'll find a website. what are you looking to do with them? they also run real close the a mechanical fuel pump. i believe you can get a set made in a jig for about $350-$400 but they may need some massaging to fit. mike |
