Yesterday I put a new, out of the box Jet Performance Quadrajet on my Camaro's L35 396 (Th-400, stock, 100,000+ miles). Man, the car runs great! The new carb came with an electric choke while the old (but not original) carb had the stock mechanical choke.
Question: Can I remove the electric choke assembly and install the old manual choke assembly? Thanks in advance! |

Yea, You should be able to. Might depend on the year the new carb is. Maybe hard getting the correct bolt on choke for this new carb. I wish I could look at it. I have some parts here. Good luck! Sam
