Lance Kramers 69 RA V T/A will be at the Russo auction the end of this month in Scottsdale.I have seen the car, nice, complete RA V factory crate motor less carb and exhaust.I think it sold this year for 115K plus fees.
Will be interesting to see what it pulls.I know the researve is VERY high!Tom |

The car did sell at the Mecum auction last spring - 100k all in I seem to recall. Nice car...but how much is a RAV crate motor worth over loosing the original #'s matching RAIII?? Don't flame me for being a dork, but, I'd rather have a numbers matching RAIII 4 speed car than one with a RAV motor. Unless, of course, one came with paperwork proving Pontiac put in the RAV !

the car sold for 115K plus fees.If it was a numbers matching III in the condition it is I think it would pull maybe 70K.Now if you had a 69 T/A with a non matching engine like a LOT of them are,a V crate motor will and has inhanced the value.I have a 69 T/A with a complete 303 RA V engine but ALSO have the correct numbers matching III engine.

I also would rather have the V over the III and would pay more.
