Where in the heck is the throttle return spring supposed to anchor to on a 69 L34 Camaro? There is a provision on he thermostat housing, the valve cover clip standoff, and the coil bracket. Which one is correct?

Ed,
Great question. I've wondered about this as well. I believe that the coil bracket is the correct location for the spring anchor location. However, I have seen many "correct" cars with the thermostat housing anchor location. Actually, I don't believe that the thermostat housing for 1969 had the cast ear for the spring anchor. Steve

The assembly manual shows it hooking to the coil bracket on page 282.
