I've noticed 2 different radios that I believe to be correct for a 69 camaro . The difference I see is that on the rear of the radio next to the plug one you see a diode and the other you do not. Can someone tell me whats the differece? Thanks Carl

Carl, how about those guys on the west coast that restore radios - they advertise on ebay alot.....im sure they have some insight to the diode??
Anyone else out here an expert on radio's??

Use this guy, I and others on the site and Team Camaro have had good experience using him and I highly recommend him. I had him restore my 69 am/fm a few months ago. Quick turnaround, think he charged $139 including shipping and will have new knobs if you need them:
