Would the 396 motors that Yenko replaced with a 427 have a block number matching the car VIN ??? If so, I would imagine there are quite a few 396 motor's out there that would match up to the Yenko vehicles.

Yep, That would be correct, but 60 some odd blocks out of hundreds of thousands of 396's can be a bit tricky to find. There's certainly a few still out there though.

There was a post at one time about a guy who had or uncle had a 396 375 that he had bought from Yenko around 1968 I think that he said it had a Camaro Vin #... I believe that it was in a Corvette.
