Default Mercedes AMG 6.3 VS Chevy ZO6

Ok guys, I took my friends new Mercedes AMG 6.3 out today for a spin, 507HP and what a spectacular ride. Tight fast and comfortable,99K vs the 70K plus he paid for the ZO6 he also has. The Mercedes seems to be a lot more car including comfort and the ability to have more passengers for the extra 30K. While out of my league, have any of you compared the two ?

I *wish* that I could say that I've compared the 2, but I'd guess 500hp in the M-B isn't gonna feel as wicked as the 500hp in the ZO6, due to the weight...I'd take either one in a heartbeat, though!

I was able to drive a Ferrari F430, Lambo Gallardo, Aston Martin DB9, Bentley Continental GT, Ford GT, and a ZO6 for 30 minutes each back to back at a driving event during the spring. I had so much fun that I did it again in the summer. They all were very different, but all a blast to drive. My overall favorite was the Ferrari F430. Two years after introduction the Ferrari still sells above sticker due to demand. For a big 4-dr sedan, I think the Mercedes S65 AMG would be near the top. 612 HP and 738 lb-ft of torque. Of course the $190K sticker isn't for everyone and it will be worth half that in 4 years as opposed to our supercars that will hopefully maintina or increase in value.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. It was the same AMG too. Conparing it to my GN.. Th eAMG would get it out of the hole but once spooled the GN and the AMG felt just about the same(my GN is not stock).. It was a nice car.. lots of comfort for 500 hp..
