Default 67 z 28 intake and carb question

Does the 67 carb have dz on it or is it just the standard number 2nd question a local guy wants to trade me a 67 z28 intake and carb in excellent shape for my 65 muncie he said he pulled the entire engine out of his z and this is all thats left he said he sold the car to a scrap metal guy 15 years ago what a waste he showed me pics so I believe him it was tore up pretty bad he said it got stolen and recovered after it was crashed he wants my muncie for his 55 project

Sounds like a no brainer trade, especially is the carb is original dated.. The carb will not have a dz suffix for 67. The carb should be list 3910 with a GM part number of 3916143.

I would say yes because you are a little high on your muncie price... I sell later 1" muncies all day that are in great shape for $550.

I agree that im high but it never hurts you can allways come down on the price I just dont want to trade and then hear that oh they made 5000000 of those like I found out on the crank I paid way to much for

The intake alone would be almost a straight across trade for a muncie core.

so the intake is just a $300 piece and the carb is worth proubally 600 so lets say $900 is what his stuff is worth

The intake is probably worth closer to $500. The carb is anyone's guess if it is dated correctly.
