air conditioning tar tape?

I am doing some work on a '66 390hp vette with a/c. I was wondering if someone could tell me where I could find that thick tar like tape that wraps various parts of the a/c unit.

IF YOU HAVE A NEARBY RADIATOR SHOP THAT DOES A/C WORK THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HELP.... KP

Cork tape is also available at most any HVAC/Refrigeration supply store.
