Default Hello

Just Dropping By to say Hello. To make a Long story short I owned back in 1991 a 1973 Nova(Far Cry from a "Supercar" but it was great for me) that I paid $50 for and NO RUST!!!!!!!. Well she is long gone but I am on the hunt for something new.I do race a Import but I do want a "Muscle Car" because Torque Rules!!. Now I am weird because Like my Dad said when I was a Teenager,"You put the cart before the Horse"and I always said"If I already had the cart, and get a Horse I could start working,,,right??" I went to a Friends house/acreage this weekend and found 4 Interesting wheels. 2 of them are GM,painted I'd Say Hugger Orange (I would guess from the Factory, because the paint is inside, but super faded in the rear)one is the wheel/tire,the other one is the spare tire with the Rim,,, one Cragar SS looking rim with a "A" in the center cap,and another wierd looking Type Cragar that almost resembles the Yenko Wheel pictured in the Vintage wheels thread. I have been trying to post the pics with No avail. What I am trying to get to is IF the Hugger Orange wheels belong to "something Cool",,,What My Wife dont know yet,is I will be on a NEW project. The acreage has NO cars anymore but a crapload of wheels/Old Tires(some of them are Polyglass) Is there any codes I can translate on these rims to see what they were from?? I can tell ya,they(The Orange wheels) look IDENTICAL to a "COPO" type rim(I dont have that type of luck). But hello, and sorry about the rambling on.

For a COPO...look for a XT stamped next to the valve stem. Just post what two letter codes you find next to the valve stems.

from what I have seen the Full Size wheel(14") is stamped "K2 12" and on the right side of the valve stem cap is "9 5.0" On the Spare it is "K2 5" and on the right it is "30 5.0"
