Default Injection on my Camaro? Aluminum Fabricator Help??

Hey guys...

I am finally trying to put together my 67 Camaro. I'd like to make it a Trans-Am clone type car.
After many years searching for an intake base for the hemi-302 head package that I own...to no avail... I am considering some type of injection set-up with a custom intake. Hilborn has an injection set-up that can be made to your specs. and it can be mounted on a separate intake. It is an EFI set-up, so I don't know how that would work. It would be cooler with an old school set up I would think. I really would love to have a real x-ram set-up on the car as I think it deserves, but I really want to get the car going.
Did any old Trans Am racing guys run injection in thier cars back in the day??

Does anyone know a good aluminum fabricator and/or injection guy(preferably closer to Philly than L.A.)...that can help??

Thanks Again!! Max
