Friend looking for his dad's Machine.
Hopefully this is allowed, I know we have some Detroiters on here. A buddy of mine is trying to find his dad's old Rebel Machine. His dad owned it from 1973-1983. It was a Bayshore Blue car with black interior, a 390, and it was a factory auto car converted to 4 speed with console. It had a regular Rebel grille after someone backed into it. It also didn't have the Machine decals, as it was repainted after someone keyed it and he hadn't put them on yet when sold. He sold it to an older man in Taylor MI who couldn't drive stick. During the test drive, when he tried to show what it could do, the man simply told him "That's enough". His dad had to drive it to the guy's house and remembers getting off I-94 at Telegraph but that's about it. They don't have the VIN either. I thought I'd post the pictures and maybe see if it jogs anyone's memory. He's already posted it to Lost Muscle Cars and checked the Machine Registry. There's two Bayshore blue cars unaccounted for so it's probably one of those (The rest are known as autos or sticks, but not converted from one to the other)

There was a guy I used to track down original owner of 2 cars, very helpful and reasonable. His name escapes me at the moment. I will look for it but maybe others on the site can offer up his name!
Hope you find it |

Definitely let me know! I wouldn't mind finding the original owner of the Camaro.
