Default 67 camaro

i Just bought a 1967 camaro RS/SS 396 car. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out if it is something special or just a RS/SS. Someone else on here has allready told me it is not a Yenko and thought maybe a Nickey.
The previous owner got me thinking on this because he tracked down the owners as far as the early 70's. That owner told him that at that time it had a 427 and fiberglass hood.
The car came white with standard black interior. No options other than the 396 and the RS. Not even a tach or gauges. I have never seen a car so plain.
Maybe I'm just wishing on a star, but if anyone knows how I check or rule it out I would appreciate it.
The vin is 124377L147637.
Thanks

Can you post the info from the cowl tag? Does it have traction bars, and, if so, what type? Does it have an electric fuel pump? Some of this info can tell you if it is worth looking further. Can you post a picture of the car?

It has a 12 bolt with the rectangular bar. I don't have the car yet. It is on its way and will be here by the end of the week. It does not have a motor or tranny. Rear is original. When I get the car I'll give the cowl. Do you have any ideas??
Thanks,
Tom

I have no idea. The guy who told me it wasn't a Yenko said there were no LA Yenko's. That's why he thought it might be a Nickey.

It "could be" or "might be" many things, including just a Camaro with no engine that maybe had a glass hood at one point.

Does it currently have mono or multi leaf springs?

Don't expect any quick answers on a car like this.
