Default Battery

Guys I am in need of replacing my battery in my Camaro, who is the best company and offers the most accurate repop battery. I need a R 89 side post battery. Thanks.

Here are two companies that you can check with:

http://www.antiqueautobattery.com/

http://www.restorationbattery.com/

And here's some info from CRG on battery usage:

Doug, a lot of the guys on the CRG site are not fans of batteries from Restoration Battery, but I have had good luck. If you keep a Battery Tender on them all the time, they will last a reasonable time. I have several that have been in service for 4+ years. Tex Timberlake

I had good luck with mine, it lasted over 5+ years - they even melted the date code into the top of it for me back in '01!

Did you use the maintenance free or the lead acid?

I have purchased two batterys from Antigue. Both were the maint free type and have lasted with great results. One is in a car that only got started twice a year and it performed flawlessly.

[/ QUOTE ] My deepest apologies for spelling issues, It was hard to remember things from GM Carlisle due to irregular alcohol abuse,
