Wanted to pick the collective minds here to help me understand how I could get a vehicle from Canada to US. The vehicle is a 90s vehicle that is a diesel. is there any unique requirements for that is there a company that does a really good job of it etc.?
Open to any great advice Thx. B |

I would check with YOUR state motor vehicle office to be sure the vehicle conforms to the state emissions and crash specs....
All vehicles are not created equal. Even if it was built in the USA, it may be built Canadian specs and you may not be able license it in your state without expensive modifications |

There are many different things that apply to late model vehicles, conversion requirements from metric to standard gauges, and many vehicles that are hit with 25% tariffs depending on the VIN sequence.
Do all your homework before touching anything newer, especially truck VINs. Best call and ask a US Broker like Rutherford in Buffalo NY.
