Default Gran Torino

I went to a private pre-screening of Gran Torino last night. Clint Eastwood is incredible. Yes there is a beautiful 1972 Gran Torino in the movie, but it is not the star. Clint plays a crochty old fart that way too many of us can relate to. Either by him resembling our fathers, grandfathers, another relative or a neighbor (maybe even yourself). If you don't want your kids picking up a bunch of racial slurs that many of us have not used in years or even heard in a couple of decades--best to not take them. The movie is two hours and will keep you going the whole time. Clint should win plenty of awards for this one. That is where I will leave it as to not give anything away.

Thanks for the review. I want to see it but wasn't sure if it would be good. I saw Clints last two movies on WWII and they were good but I was not overly impressed.

I'm definitely going to check it out.

Thanks for the review! I've heard nothing but great reviews of this movie and can't wait to see it.

My friend says it's Dirty Harry living on AARP.
Supposed to be the last movie Clint will ever act in as well.
I heard the acting by the supporting cast was weak.Granted trying to act with Mr.E. can't be easy, but almost each review I see or read says this over & over.
All are new comers with no chops..
Clint & the car are the only real stars and for that alone I'd go see it.
