Re: Anyone know a Leslie R Alexander from California
Wow....I had no idea that anyone could access info like this. As some of you may know, I have been looking for one of the original owners of one of my rides for over a year now and this site just helped me out big time. Thats the positive thing.
Now for the negative ..... I'll throw this out there and look forward to reading other's thoughts on this...... Is this an invasion of privacy? I did a search for myself and was amazed that there is as much info out there on me including my addresses for the last 20 years. Seems to me that this could be just another tool for the low life scum of society to use to help them steal other people's identities. I live my life keeping a very low profile and have my numbers unlisted (mainly do to a psychotic ex girlfriend from my single days) and will rarely provide personal info only when it is absolutely required. Once I had my numbers changed and unlisted it reduced all telemarketing calls to me by 99.9% and the psychotic ex quit bothering me. Maybe it was the restraining order that helped her see the light too. Anyway I digress as I am sure we all have some interesting "ex" stories. Well leave that for another thread. The more I think about this the more I believe it is wrong to have so much info out there that is just a click away from people that you don't want having access to this info. Seems reasonable to me that each individual should have the right to block their own personal info from being posted on sites like these. What say you?
