Default L-79 Intake Manifold

Help!

I need a 65-68 L-79 Intake Manifold with no prior cracks, repairs, or welds for a Day 2 1959 Corvette Restoration. Dates not important.

Thanks,
Bill Pankiw

65 is a "461" part numbered intake manifold. 66-67 carried a "490" part number and 68 L79 intakes are cast iron quadrajet intakes.

I appreciate the info. I was not aware the 1968 was cast iron. As long as it is Aluminum, and has a provision for an oil fill tube, and a divorced choke thermostat, either part # will work.

Thanks,

A 68 Z 610, 69 Z 472, 70 2110, or over the counter 2116 should also work for you. The 2110 and the 2116 will need the oil fill blank popped out.

The 3844461 does not have a divorced thermostat tower.
