Found this photo from about 1973. One of my customer's cars at that time. Low compression stock 454, M22 with headers, gears, tuning and tires. Ran in the mid 12's without any problem. I remember that I broke my Chevelle and Alvin, the original owner let me drive the car and we won the eliminator that day!
The rear tires were really buckling when you let the clutch out. This car was fast for the tank that it was! Jerry |

I LOVE low compression BBC`s! I ran 110 mph in an 8-1 454 with an M20 and I could have used that car for delivering pizza!

Air Lift air bags and that was it. That's all I used on my Chevelle too.
