Wow, bidding is up to $225K.

That's more than a rebodied COPO.

I keep on wanting to say something about the stock appearance of this car (or lack of mods), but I guess I will refrain ...

Chrysler needs to give him another car to drive and then they can auction it off for "charity" (their fight to survive cause) then the US gov't (us taxpayers) will not have to "give" them money

Check out the new deal that Fiat has offered Chrysler. In return for 35% of Chrysler, Fiat will inject NO CASH and will allow them to produce Chrylser-branded Fiat models for the states and will advise them on how to make even crappier cars. If that works, then Fiat can exercise their option to buy an additional 20% of Chrysler for a mere $25 million. Of course, this all hinges on whether Chrysler can get an ADDITIONAL loan of $3 billion from the taxpayers of the good old US of A. Looks like a foreign car manufacturer gets a 55% controlling interest in Chrysler for $25 million if our government keeps them afloat long enough to pull the deal off. If we all pooled our money, the members of this site could scrape up $25 million and keep Chrylser American-owned. We could show them how a car company should be run

As always, my advice is to drink heavily; April 15 is just over the horizon
