Cars and Coffee Irvine, Ca. 7/5/14!
Holly and I went to Cars and Coffee in Irvine, Ca. this morning. We got there around 6:20am and we met up with my buddy Dave Lindsley(Z28DL), who brought out his 1969 L78 SS Camaro. He was just pulling in when we got there.
His car has been done for a number of years and is just beautiful. Dave is a wonderful, down to earth person and is always a gracious host whenever we meet up with him. We also met Ken Maisano, who brought out his unrestored 1969 Z28 Camaro.Ken, it was a pleasure to meet you...and your car is really nice. Ken also brought out a GSX for everyone to enjoy as well. NovaJoe was there, too...along with Mark Sheppard and Dana Hurt! Finally, Mike Greenawalt made the trek from AZ (a Pavilions regular)by way of Dana Point this morning, too! We were supposed to meet up with James B (jbsides)and Mark S. (MSSL72)-but somehow we missed each other? The group ended up closing down the place...even the janitoral crew was gone before we were done [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] Thanks to all who made it out or even attempted to make it out for the get together. We'll have to this again over Thanksgiving. I will try and be more organized. Enjoy the pics that I took. There were TONS of cars there. I was just too busy talking!

Bruce! I was there! I had a slightly late start and got there about 7 am. It was a little distracting right away with the cars and I had to stop for coffee and doughnut. Then the new Z28 was there and I stopped to look at that. I did meet up with Ken and saw his survivor '69Z. He was getting ready to go. I asked about you guys and he said you had already swung by. That was about 8:15 and by 8:30 it was already starting to thin out car wise. I hung around by Mark Sheppards Nova figuring he might show up. Then I remembered about my Nova restraining order and I had to move away from it. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif[/img] About 9am I kinda thought you guys might have already left. So I headed out. Next time I'll have to get there earlier and now that I know where the place is. Now that I see that group shot I'll have a better idea of who to keep an eye out for next time. Sorry we didn't sync up. Here's a few pics I took.
