Supposedly the Black & Gold COPO 9567 ZL-1 Special Camaros do exist - locked away in some warehouse that GM owns.There were two of them: one with an M21 and the other with an M40. No one has ever claimed to have seen them since the day those B & W photos were taken. That may be wishful thinking that they still do exist as opposed to having them sent to the crusher and destroyed which GM frequently did with it's prototypes.

Did the yellow survive? I think it looks better than the black and gold one (not too sure about the lights in the grille though; makes it look like some kind of rally car).
