I saw this magazine article years ago and figured it was a phony made-up car.

------Rick,,,That car of Billy Clements showed up at B/J a couple of years ago. Cant remember what it went for. Original engine was supposedly in the trunk and car desperatly needed resto. Dont know where it went. As far as real or not,,, Billy is the guy with all the fake and blank color tags on E-bay all the time. He also used to do ID tags but I believe the Feds shut down or severly slowed down that part of his business. I believe there might be a bit of doubt on peoples minds in regard to this one.........Bill S

Thanks Bill, that's what I thought too.
Has there ever been any other rumored aluminum headed LS6's? It seems I had heard of a Cranberry Red one in North Carolina that went to Florida, then disappeared. I'm pretty sure there were no Tonowanda records showing the engine being built, but weird things do happen. |

Didn't Mark Meekins feature one in his 'Chevelle Report' a few years ago? (I probably still have the issue somewhere.)

I have some of those old Chevelle Reports also. Do you remember an approximate year?

Not really. I honestly don't recall when the 'Report' ceased production. I'll try to look up my copies over the weekend.
One of the other 'Ricks' might remember the article. ![]()
