What do you do when you visit SoCal? That's right, you meet up with your friends at a car cruise!

Gary (my brother) and his son Talyor and me were invited to a car cruise called Cars and Coffee by David Lindsley (Z28DL) and we were albe to talk Mark and Bart (LateBrakeU2 and 47 Hammer respectivley) to drive down from the Malibu area to hang with us....

It was a great time...and the show was from 6:30am until about 9:00am

Thanks for the invite Dave and it was great to see the guys...as it always is!

An original owner Nova...bought at Harry Mann. Owner has pics from the day he picked it up...through all of the mods and racing at Lions, OCIR, etc.

I actually have pics of this car at the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals from 1981...and I was just looking at them the other day. When I get home I will scan them...and post them here...! Owner was amazed that I knew thatthiscar had tow tabs on it back then (He just removed them)

Dave Lindsley is in the last picture...and I just remembered that Dave forgot to give Dave O and Bob A. the secret sign!

Yeah, how about because it was uncorked! what a nut. The maroon Vette and both of the novas were neat cars too. Bruce, great seeing you and have a safe drive home.

My 68 Z28 is from the same dealership as Daves L-78 Nova,Selman Chevrolet in Orange Calif. Neat to see another Hi-perf car from the same place.Looks like a great gathering of cars.
