Bruce, Great pictures, looks like a big turn out of cars and people! Pavillions has to be the best weekly car show going! What a variety of quality cars. I see Dad made the trip up w/ our black 70 chevelle L-78. 17 more weeks until my arizona vacation. I'll make sure to say Hi. Thanks again and Happy Holidays. Tony

Tony...When I was talking to your dad...he said it was 16 degrees in Michigan

What a difference a day makes. Today is cool and cloudy. I even thought about putting a jacket on while doing the Cardinals tailgate today...

PostseDAN...the beagles name is Molly/Bella(Holly named her). More in a minute on that.

The dog got loose in our neighborhood on Thanksgiving day...so we took her in. I put up signs...put the info all over the internet on lost dog sites as well. I also put over 100 miles on my truck...looking around the general area to see if there were any lost dog signs up. We thought that the owners may have been out of town so we anxiously awaited any calls last Sunday evening...we got none.

While walking the dog on Sunday evening..we had an older couple approach us and ask if we had found the dog. We said "Yes, is the dog yours?"

What they said floored us...they said that the dog belonged to their niece (who lives less than two blocks from us) and that the dog was pretty much ignored. It had gotten out before as well. When the lady asked her niece if she was going to put up signs about the lost dog...or go out and look for her...the niece said that she had probably been eaten by a coyote...and that she was too busy to do anything.

The older couple told us to just keep the dog...she'd be better off...and that her name was Molly. The older couple went back to Ohio where they were from...but before they left they came by and thanked us.

To this day...I have yet to see a sign for a missing beagle...and I don't think that I will

Some people shouldn't have animals...

My neighbor has two beagles and he calls them "escape artists." Constantly trying to dig out under the back fence, etc. Better read up on beagle care Bruce!

I agree! That is so sad! Glad your family took her in.

Sadly that is the truth. They get some smell in the nose and they will take off and go for miles!!! I knew a young couple whose beagle kept getting out of the yard and dashing across town!!

I am sorry for the previous owner, that lack of responsibility says a lot about her mother.

Bruce
Missed you and the family when I was there on the 15th and again on the 22nd. Drove Fred Mandricks 68 Hurst Olds on the 15th and went solo on the 22nd.
Saw the Veyron on the 15th.
Got out to the goodguys show as well.

Paul

Paul...sorry that we missed you. Damn work (and weather) got in the way

Bella the beagle is doing just fine (so far) at our house. I haven't seen any clues of her wanting to dig her way out...yet.

We have been reading all about beagles for the past couple of days. Poor Bella had never been walked...so we are in the process of trying to teach her to go on a walk without going 100 MPH .

She has made a ton of progress in the past two or three days. It will definitely be an adventure
