There are a few videos on You tube of previous cars getting the "Curse". There was something like 107 cars entered and maybe half the drivers had never driven on a track before. It is probably the most fun track type driving you can do because you don't really worry about sheetmetal too much. I highly recommend this event to anyone. You are talking about a 500.00 car plus safety equipment. We had a bunch of wrecking yard spare parts. Changed one spindle, 1 set of front pads, 1 tire, tranny fluid, and some of our bottled water in the radiator when it started getting hot. Kasey...That Corvair spent alot of time in the pits but I think it lasted the whole event.
