Musclecar Reunion invitation

The last weekend of May there will be a nostalgia event at Gateway International (near St. Louis). They do two a year, the Spring event in at GW, the Fall event at KCIR. I have been to all of their events and always had a good time. Though mostly about nostalgia drag racing, part of the show is a special area called the Legends of Speed, with several celebrities, such as Big Daddy and our own Helen Gibb. As in the past, the promoters have invited myself, and other members to be a part of the Legends display. You will receive free entry, special display area and they even allow a couple of passes. I will be there with Red Alert, Helen and Nancy with their Gibb Nova, and we would love to have some company. If you would like to participate, give me a holler.

Definitely a fun event. We had a great time there last year. Unfortunatley my wife has booked a 'Cultural Event' for Saturday afternoon and Sunday that SAME WEEKEND! Just when I thought I had her trained ............ (Guess I need to re-read the Tibor manual)

So ........I'm planning to be there Friday afternoon and evening. Maybe get to spend some time with the early arrivals. We talked to Troxel at the NHRA event earlier this month and he said the early registration for this show was good. Hope someone can get some pix Saturday and Sunday.

Pete will be here Saturday for our photo shoot so we will likely come down Friday or Sunday instead. Looking forward to this one as I hear it was a great time last year.
