The "I Need Therapy Cruise" Pics 6/27/09

This has been a week I'd like to forget. It started Wednesday evening when my mother was taken to the hospital for respiratory distress. During her diagnosis and treatment, I heard all kinds of doom and gloom. I visited her Thursday night and the sight of her being hooked up to monitors, etc... Well, it was all very upsetting.

As a result, I canceled my hotel room for the Mid Atlantic Chevelle Show and resolved that I would have to spend most of my weekend at the hospital.

Can you say "turn around"! She is 90% better and in MUCH better spirits, and is only hooked up to a feeding tube and has a monitor sensor on her finger. We're ALL happier now!

With that said, I did go to a local Walmart Cruise tonight to hang out with some of my buddies. Temps were in the 70's and the humidity was only 44%. We probably won't see many nights like this anymore.

Had to use my old camera tonight, the new one is charging. Didn't take a whole lot tonight, but I'll have a bunch from the Mid Atlantic Chevelle Show tomorrow! Yeah, mom said go to the show.

That's all for tonight. Gonna meet Jay original70SS at a local Bob Evans for breakfast tomorrow, then we're cruising up to North East, Maryland for the Mid Atlantic Chevelle Show. Hope to see Albert and Bill and others up there as well. As always, I'll take as many pics as I can.

Yep, that's the most important thing. Go enjoy yourself and when you see your Mom tell her Hi from all us goofballs who sit here and enjoy your coverage of the shows.

Rick, sorry I missed your call last night. Glad to hear the good news about your mom. It sounds like she's hooked up to a pulse oximeter (looks a bit like "ET Phone home" finger from the movie)...which measures her heart rate and oxygen saturation levels...which because of the short term respiratory issues makes a lot of sense.
