I remember back in the late 70's I used to run those Drag 500's on my 67 GTO at Lebanon Valley Dragway....I have a couple sets of NOS M&H Racemasters myself I bought years and years ago...but would love to put a set of the Drag 500's on 'Russ'

The only other photo of the Nova has 15" Torque Thrusts. The Hurst Cheaters are on 15x7 Pontiac steel wheels. The inside wheel lips were already trimed. L78 4spd buckets console 4.10 12 bolt. Needs a trip to Deuce heaven for a repaint in original fathom green. Earl

I think you've been here before. And yep, we can do that.

We tubed the M&H's that we had on the back of Alan's H/O Nova. Some of the people who drive things around here have very little self control.

I just purchased a set of Hurst Slicks P225/75 15, they stand about 28" tall and are about 7-8" wide. These are NOS older ones made in Idaho and not in Oregon where the new re-capped ones are made.. Don't know if this makes a difference or not in tire construction but they were reasonably priced and should look great on the car..

These are the 15" recaps 28" tall 7" wide. Really wakes up the look on this little small block 70 SS. Earl

How did the balance out? Is that all of the weight at 3-O'clock?

They required quite a bit of weight to balance. That is two big weights together at 3 O'clock. Earl

I'm glad this topic came about. I wanted to put some of those pie cut cheaters on my recent project. May think twice now.
