Any of our resident Mopar guys have any old manuals that outline how to cc the dome of a Hemi piston?

I think Terry can tell you who to get into contact with. He got the info from a NHRA tech guy.

LOL...John, I know how to do it, you know how to do it, my kids know how to do it...I'd just like to see the procedure outlined in the chrysler manual, as to show it's not just "black magic"...!

(btw, I know the procedure was in a manual somewhere, as I saw a post about it a couple years ago at moparts, but I can't find it now because their search feature only goes back 1 year.)

Shouldn't you should be able to check dome volume the same way you do with any other engine.

I didn't want to admit this but I have some manuals from 66/67/68. I will check them.

Whats up with this Rob?

Its the same as any other engine.

I guess it is a mystery, none of the manuals had that type of info. There was no mention of any race HEMI stuff, just the street hemi.

I don't have it with me, but I can get it. I have the piece that was put out by RTS that shows how to modify/tune your hemi for sanctioned racing. I seem to remeber a piston diagram??? Won;t get to it till next weekend.

Are you familiar with this?

John
