I was thinking of putting some rubber on some of the old Cragar wheels around here. I would like them to fit all of the cars and was hoping for recommendations (with pics are especially appreciated).
I have a set of the 15x4 and would like a great old look for those. I would love it if they would fit my dad's 67 Nova, which is kinda limiting. On the up side, he has balljoint spacers and the car has more clerance than most. I would also like to discuss a size for some 15x6 wheels I have. Figured the size which would be good for the rear of the Nova could also do duty on the front of my sister's 69 Camaro and Nova. Kinda looking for a taller look like this: ![]() But I think I might be stuck with this, which still isn't bad. ![]() And here is how the har has always been. ![]() |

Universal Tire has some tires. US Royal 560/15 25.88" tall, Firestone 560/15 25.80 tall and 640/15 27.01 tall. With the backspacing on the 15X4 Cragars there is a limit to the height of the skinnies I can run on my 69 camaro without rubbing when I turn. I remove the bottom trim bolt if the skinnies are 27" tall to help from scraping on my car. Have to look at the websites and see what sidewall style tire you prefer.
