Default Kenta Persson has left the track

I guess you guys don´t know who Kenta Persson was. He started out as a mechanic in the Ryman-Larsson Funnycar team in the early seventies. Soon after, in 1973, he drove his own Competition Anglia powered by a injected BB engine and in 1976 he entered a JC-sponsored (Junior Center)Top Fuel dragster. After a long career he became the first European to make a 4-second pass on a European track. This was in 1997.
I met Kenta a couple of times about five years ago in the Borås area, since we had a mutual friend.

Watch him in "Pure Power" 2008

Kenta Persson was one of the best. RIP
