Default Distributor Help??

I recently purchased this distributor from a buddy who has been a big drag racer since the late 1960s. He has always raced big block chevys. This is an old BBC/SBC dual points distributor that has he had for many years. He had no idea what make it was. It is aluminum and the casting numbers look identical to Winters casting numbers on GM intakes and heads. Anyone have any idea? It is a very cool day 2 distributor!!!!

I googled "24100 V big block chevy distributor" and found this...

The HAMB

It's called "Double Life" distributor.

I agree this is an awesome looking distributor. Does anyone know anything about these? Reliable? Are they date coded or have a time frame when they were used?

Should be mid to late 60's and early 70's. Some of the other guys on here will know more details. Motion Performance used them.
Part number should be YC-310. If you don't want to run points, you can install an electronic kit in it.

Yes they do. I'm running one in my 1957, 392 Hemi.
