I recently purchased this distributor from a buddy who has been a big drag racer since the late 1960s. He has always raced big block chevys. This is an old BBC/SBC dual points distributor that has he had for many years. He had no idea what make it was. It is aluminum and the casting numbers look identical to Winters casting numbers on GM intakes and heads. Anyone have any idea? It is a very cool day 2 distributor!!!!

I agree this is an awesome looking distributor. Does anyone know anything about these? Reliable? Are they date coded or have a time frame when they were used?

Should be mid to late 60's and early 70's. Some of the other guys on here will know more details. Motion Performance used them.
Part number should be YC-310. If you don't want to run points, you can install an electronic kit in it. There are some pictures of nos YC's on this thread. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...335#Post455335
