----Thanks so much, Grant!!! Looks like a pretty good group. Were there any leather cars among the GPs? I wish I would have taken some time off from all my boat stuff as I would have liked to meet you as well as see these bad boys......Bill S

Yes, all three of my friend Jim's '69s there were leather cars, two with black and one green leather. Sorry, I didn't take any photos inside of them.

Thanks for posting the pics Grant! I knew someone would have GP pics.
There was also a ragtop GP there too, but not the Lucerne Blue one that's been to other events. Many of the guys thought the Grand Prix looked like a natural as a ragtop. ![]()

Bill, there was a '69 SJ there for sale as well... very similar to yours. The late Fred Engers owned this car for many years, his wife just recently decided to sell it. I remember meeting Fred and his friend from Illinois that both drove their '69 SJ's to Irvine, CA for the 1993 POCI convention. That was the same show that I drove Charley's red '70 SJ to the convention.

Bill, that one would certainly make a nice pairing with yours. I don't believe it sold, but I did talk to someone there that knows the family well and was trying to make a deal on it.
