Any chance one of the gurus can point me to where I can find the stamp in the sheet metal? Alternatively, how to identify a repro RA hood vice an original.

The stamping is located along the drivers side support near where the hood hinge bolts. All reproduced hoods are based on the '68 hood and do not have the proper relief in the bracing to clear the '69 and '70 fan shroud.

I wasn't aware the Ram Air hood was being re-popped. Base hood, yes. Ram Air, no.

They only reproduce the '68 hood. It can be cut to match a ram air hood and accept the flapper assembly.
