Check out page C48 in a Camaro, Nova or Chevelle assembly manual. Delete was still shown in the 1970 manuals, just not available on cars produced for the 48 US states. It was still available in 69 and 70 on cars exported, and even on cars shipped to Hawaii from what I have read.

Based on the History I am aware of regarding this COPO, I have always believed that it was a real one.
The VIN had been recorded on the OLD COPO connection web site. There are issues which may be able to be explained. Glockner Chevrolet is a known COPO dealer. The family does still own the dealership, even though they have not put fourth any factory or dealer documentation. An NCRS shipping report would be a good start. I have asked the current owner to provide the info which has been requested here on this post/thread so that we can get to the real story. |
