That's what happens when you have a high performance car and a low performance driver. Traction control makes a Mario Andretti out of damn near anyone. Ask these people to feather it and they think you're making a reference to birds or something. Watch the insurance companies go nuts again just like back in the later 60s.

Just sayin' -- TAZ </div></div>

The talent doesn't come with the car, never has. 700 H.P./ 650 Ft lbs on 275's. Darwin award for all potatoes and no meat.

Looks like a candidate for supplanting the running gear and computers into 70-71 Challenger Pro Touring build imminent

As it is this is a full on sensory overload experience for a new driver, but lots of owners may regret test drives with guys who are used to flogging 400 HP. For everyday driving I would definitely keep the engine management system in &quot;eco&quot; mode. </div></div>

Phil congratulations on your new car, what an awesome Christmas present. So you switched to the dark side

That is a good one...I like it but not as much as a friend of mine who just took delivery. I insisted on driving the car myself so I did not end up cooked a la Carrera GT style.

Car had 200 miles on it when I took it out.

Know this-- there will be many crashes before the story is written on these cars...ditching the cat head on the fender would be apropos for a jolly pirate skull and bones.

Saving my pennies for the last of the current Z/28. That is more my style.

Amazing car to be sure.
I would like to see both the Hellcat and the Z/28 taken around a good track on the same day by an experienced driver.

Anybody care to venture a guess? Will Chevy or Ford try to match the HP on the Hellcat?
