NCRS report could at least confirm the selling dealership.

Besides the fact that it's counterfeit (has anyone ever used that term to describe a car?), it would look better with a white top.

that's a great idea on this car. I do know of a camaro that lost its tag to sandblasting accident (tape blew off tag, blaster did not notice until it was too late). No doubt, this car had a blaster heavily focused on that firewall near the tag. I did a quick search on that dealer, and it was definitely open into the 70s. |

Dealership was open into the 90s I believe. The tag is a fake repro. I doubt it was on when the firewall was cleaned up.

I'd say that "caution fan" decal is real & authentic and therefore makes this car real...deceptive!

The only reason to get the shipper report would be to prove the car DIDN'T come from City Chev.
It shipper says it DID come from City Chev, it lends absolutely no credence to a car that has a fake tag, fake POP, fake purchase agreement, and, according to Kurt's records, used to also have a fake broadcast sheet. I wouldn't waste fitty cents to find out any more about this car, let alone $50. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Anyone know someone at VOLO? Their rep is on the line, and they should be informed about the fraud they are helping with. Like so many of these, VOLO probably took the owner's word for it, and they may have no idea that it is a total fraud. Reminds me of the black L89 in Florida a couple years ago. Totally made up from top to bottom, including docs.
