This one ended up selling for $6300. Well bought, I think!

For as clean as it looks in the pics, I'd say $6,300 was a good price too.
I miss that race car. It was my playground growing up. Not long after this pic was taken, Dad put a 426 Hemi in it with Hilborn fuel injection. I always thought the stacks coming up through the hood were the coolest thing.

For a minute I thought this car below was the same one in the auction link here, but this is a '65. I still think this '62 was a hell of a deal.
