Very interesting.
Is your belief that this is supposed to be an LT-1 spec engine? Does it appear reasonably stock or is it just the block? Is it a 4 bolt main block? You probably already know that 010 blocks were used just about in every small block application through the 70's, so that doesn't tell us much. If it a long block I'd like to see the combustion chambers to see if they've been cut for the intake valve unshrouding.

I want to add yenko deuce also has the CTB in 1970. Now a partial vin would determine a car line for the engine.

Chris:
See if you can get a clear pic of the casting date. Usually on the back part of the block close to the bell housing flange, on passenger side. That and a good pic of the engine assembly stamp would help.

If it is a 70 Z block it should have 2482 on center 3 main caps. Tonawanda blocks have no 1/4” front plug just above timing cover, but those can be tapped & installed. Also “X” rods are not correct, those were mid 70 issue.
How about posting a picture of pad Chris? |

I'd like to see a good pic of that pad stamping. The T does not seem legit.
