Warhoops Junkyard
Anyone else ever go to Warhops?
We would go once a year to check out the cars. Shame, it’s all gone now. I remember picking on a 1970 Camaro for my buddy. It was on the bottom of a stack of cars. Lol I went in to get the console lock and thought, what the hell am I doing. Check out the Hemings article on the place below. https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2013/0...junkyard-sold/ Last edited by Burd; 02-18-2020 at 04:51 PM. |

I only know of Warhoops being where Joe Bortz rescued Motorama Dream Cars from in the 80's, 25+ years after GM scrapped them there. ~ Pete .

My last trip there was some kind of GM cars still in crates. Lol
I always like strolling through the Cadillac section, I opened the glovebox on an old caddy, there was like a wax paper envelope with 2 GM old style oil filter gaskets, I gave them to a caddy guy. |

There used to be a AMC specialty yard at 14 & Coolidge. I went there to get Ambassador parts for my moms car.
